Terms of Service

Effective date: May 4, 2025

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using WattLens (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Nature of the service

WattLens is an estimation tool. All appliance usage breakdowns, energy costs, and savings projections are estimates based on statistical models and publicly available data. They are not measured values and may differ significantly from your actual consumption. Do not make financial or investment decisions based solely on WattLens outputs.

3. Data accuracy disclaimer

Provincial electricity rates, time-of-use schedules, and appliance energy profiles used by WattLens are approximations. Rate accuracy varies by utility and may not reflect current pricing. Always consult your utility provider's official billing statement for authoritative figures.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. WattLens does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or accuracy of estimates.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WattLens and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or reliance on the Service.
